Design Series

For comfort and style, our triple-glazed casement window is hard to beat. It can be installed as a single or double unit or in combination with other windows. Equal sight lines create a balanced look. Awning windows add a distinctive element to any home. They work well where space is limited. As an architectural accent, stacked awnings create a contemporary look while horizontal combinations accent Prairie, Ranch and split-lever styles.

Features

  • The elegance of metal clad combined with the durability and low maintenance of vinyl.
  • Available in white or beige vinyl interior to match your colour scheme.
  • Fully extruded aluminum cladding available in a variety of colours. Enhanced Colour Protection (ECP) – which utilizes acroflur paint, a Kynar® based coating – is added to darker colours to resist fading and chalking.
  • Steel reinforcement is added within vinyl components to provide necessary structural rigidity.
  • Continuous head and sill design ensures a watertight frame, a continuous nailing fin, and stronger configurations compared to mulled systems.
  • Designed for thermal performance equivalent to, or in excess of, traditional vinyl windows.
  • Extruded gaskets separate metal from glass to block thermal transfer. Air boundaries between aluminum and vinyl create optimal thermal performance.
  • Double glazing or triple glazing available with a variety of glass options to maximize energy efficiency.
  • Sleek Truth Encore® folding hardware available in eleven colours.
  • Choose from multiple grille types in an array of colours and patterns.
  • Make your windows more prominent with optional 2-inch exterior brickmould.

Thermal Performance optimized through extruded gaskets separating glass from metal and air boundaries between aluminum and vinyl components.

Compatible with vinyl or aluminum clad wood windows to address moisture concerns in bathrooms or allow for esthetic add-ons such as colour for front elevations.

Solar Heat Gain Coefficient

The amount of heat retained by a window; the higher the number, the better the glass

The amount of solar radiation entering a house and registering as heat gain; the lower the number, the less heat gained

 

Ultraviolet Transmission

Visible Light Transmission

The total ultraviolet rays entering through a window, generally responsible for fading; the lower the number, the better the glass

How much visible light enters through the glass; 100% = all the light gets through, 0% = no light gets through
